Fireworks in Small Places

When people think of fireworks, they automatically think of the shows we watch on the 4th of July which requires a large open field far from the crowd.  Most of the shows we produce for special events use a product that does not require much room; in fact, sometimes we bring the fireworks indoors!  A wedding we celebrated at Hickory Street Annex allowed the crowd to watch a low-level aerial display from a volleyball court in their parking lot.

The display was a surprise for the bride and groom as a present from the bride's parents.

I love that the photographer captured the audience reaction as well.  Everyone loves fireworks!

On January 21, 2012, Pyrotex was proud to be invited to be a part of one of the final episodes for Extreme Makeover Home Edition on ABC.

Our team arrived on Friday afternoon to meet with the production team and was surprised to see an almost completed home with construction starting just 6 days prior.  After helping with some light yard work to complete the backyard oasis, our team got to work to set up our trailer in a neighboring field.

The Harris family arrived late Saturday night to a crowd of neighbors, friends, volunteers, USO and fellow veterans from San Antonio and all around Texas.  Amidst waving American flags and folks yelling "Move That Bus!", the Harris family's new home was revealed to improve the lives of this very deserving family.

While one of the Three Tenors serenaded the crowd with the National Anthem, Pyrotex fired a spectacular aerial display in the middle of a field in the little town of Floresville, TX to the delight of the Harris family, their neighbors and ABC executives.
